American Sun Control was founded in 1969 by Glorio Patsy, Jr, Lisa’s father. Lisa grew up in the business and started working in the company over summers and during college. She has owned and operated the business since purchasing it and now runs both the commercial and residential divisions of American Sun Control Company. With her 30 plus years’ experience, the company has enjoyed consistent growth and is an industry leader in Atlanta/Southeast for window shading and lighting control. Lisa has a love for all aspects of architecture and interior design, but her true passion shows amid opportunities to influence and mentor through encouragement, development, and sharing of her faith. Having grown up with two brothers, she is an avid sports fan and enjoys watching golf (especially The Masters) and cooking with her husband. Lisa and her husband Jim are members of Buckhead Church and reside in Atlanta.
As Senior Commercial Estimator, Bobby is able to apply his broad construction experience to implementing the optimum solutions for our customers. After an eighteen-year career in telecom engineering and data services, Bobby returned to college to complete his B.S. in Construction Management at Southern Polytechnic State University and has held project management roles at all levels of commercial construction including as an Owner Representative, with General Contractors, and with Trade Contractors in multiple disciplines. He also completed an MBA from Kennesaw State to add to his financial and business acumen. Bobby was the LEED Coordinator as part of the onsite management team for construction of the first supermarket to achieve LEED Platinum certification, located in Augusta, Maine. He has held LEED-AP credentials since 2007, with the BD+C designation. 2021 marks seven years of experience specific to Commercial Window Treatments. Charis brings her decades of experience supporting C level executives for companies like Coca-Cola, GE Capital and Lucent Technologies to deliver white glove service to our customers by anticipating the needs of others. Joining an industry where projects and their deadlines often and quickly change, her professional reputation of being a problem-solver with great attention detail has proven to be an asset to our company and its clients. Her background stretching across 26 years in Finance and IT have been instrumental in improving processes and adapting to the latest tools and systems in our team’s collective success to remain competitive. A big part of her life’s fulfillment is bringing joy to others. When she can achieve this at work it is a win for her but more importantly for the clients of American Sun Control. This enjoyment makes it no surprise that despite the complex, typical and unplanned milestones through the life of a project, Charis has successfully managed 9 of the 10 largest projects for American Sun Control in the last 5 years.
